About us

A community united by the power of education

We’re neighbors in the Seattle area who believe a child’s family finances should never decide whether they get to learn. We connect the generosity of supporters here with real classroom needs at New Tulips School in Koteshwor, Kathmandu.

The school we support

New Tulips School in Koteshwor, Kathmandu teaches children from Grade 1 through Grade 10. Many families in the community work hard to keep up with fees, uniforms, and books — and when money runs short, a child’s education is often the first thing to slip. Your support helps close that gap.

Our programs

Four ways your gift keeps a child in school

Each program removes a specific barrier between a child and their classroom.

🎒

School fee assistance

Fees are often the reason a child leaves school. We help cover eligible school expenses for children from families facing economic hardship.

📚

Books & supplies

Textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and approved school supplies — the basic tools every child needs to take part in class.

🎓

Scholarships

Motivated students shouldn’t have to stop because of money. Scholarships help them keep going and reach goals that might otherwise be out of reach.
